Local Artist Georgia Elliott is inspired by travel and vast landscapes working with a variety of mediums, including; painting onto silk, paper and board, paper cut collages, and printmaking. She has always been keen to experiment with new techniques and materials. These influence and inform one another; helping the work to stay fresh and enable it to continually evolve.
After completing a BA(Hons) in Illustration at The University for the Creative Arts in Kent she spent 4 years living in Brighton loving the buzz of the city, the sea and the many creative people she met.
Georgia set up a small business called ‘Daubs & Dashes’ where she created hand painted silk scarves. They were stocked in various galleries, spotted in Harpers Bazaar.
Since moving to Buckinghamshire she has renovated an old building at the end of the garden—her new studio space for a new phase of work.
